We focus on meeting the mass production needs of high-performance optical components such as diffusers, reflectors, lenses, lamp housings, and light guides, which require high optical performance, heat and weather resistance, and complex aesthetic structures. We utilize a closed-loop engineering development model, employing DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review, precision mold structure design, mold flow simulation analysis, cooling and ejection system optimization, and high-standard CNC/EDM/wire cutting manufacturing processes to ensure high-cycle production stability and micron-level fit reliability. GP Mold has the capability to support injection molding equipment from 100T to 3000T, and can provide aluminum and high-grade steel mold solutions, adapting to production transitions from small-batch verification to tens of millions of units. This helps customers shorten verification cycles, reduce mold risks, and improve overall yield, with specific optimization for the high optical requirements, heat and weather resistance, and microstructure molding of lampshade products.

These are suitable for indoor lighting lampshades (such as ceiling light diffusers, table lamp shades, downlight reflectors, pendant lamp decorative parts), outdoor lighting lampshades (such as street lamp shades, garden lamp shades, waterproof floodlight housings, solar lamp shades), automotive lighting lampshades (such as headlight lenses, fog lamp shades, turn signal housings, interior ambient light guides), special lighting lampshades (such as explosion-proof lampshades, UV sterilization lamp shades, stage light filters), and decorative lampshades (such as crystal lamp prisms, artistic lamp镂空罩, imitation marble translucent shades). Mold manufacturing tolerances are consistently controlled within ±0.005–0.02mm, ensuring reliable critical optical fits, uniform wall thickness, controllable weld line strength, precise molding of micro-prism textures and Fresnel structures, and smooth demolding. We provide independent engineering customized solutions for different lighting scenarios, guaranteeing that part molding quality meets the stringent standards of ECE R112 optical regulations, IP68 waterproofing, and long-term yellowing resistance.

GP Mold prioritizes the use of high-hardness, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, and high-polish steels in lampshade mold manufacturing, such as S136H ESR, 2316H, NAK80, 1.2085, 1.4462, Calmax, etc. This is combined with controlled heat treatment (vacuum quenching/tempering/nitriding) and wear-resistant coating (PVD/AlTiN/CrN) processes to ensure that the molds maintain excellent dimensional stability and cavity surface integrity even under long-term high-temperature, high-pressure injection molding cycles and UV aging erosion. The compatible molding materials cover general plastics (PS, ABS), engineering plastics (PC, PMMA, ASA, PC/ABS alloy), and high-performance lampshade grade materials (optical grade PC/PMMA/COC, heat-resistant 130–200℃ modified PC/HT-PMMA, light-diffusing modified PS, weather-resistant UV-resistant ASA/PC+ASA, glass fiber reinforced PC+GF/PBT+GF, flame-retardant V0 grade, quartz-filled silicone resin, and micro-foamed lightweight formulations). Mold surface treatment strictly follows SPI/SPE standards (A-1/A-2 grade mirror high gloss, B grade semi-gloss, C grade matte polishing), and supports VDI textures, laser etching, sandblasting, mold chrome plating, mirror polishing, anti-stick coatings, and nano-imprinted microstructures to ensure distortion-free optical surfaces, uniform diffusion, and stable consistency of waterproof sealing surfaces. We offer mold delivery and validation capabilities that comply with ISO 9001, ECE R112, and IP68 standards, and support cleanroom production environments (Class 7–8) and a traceable material batch management system.

This ensures stable mold tolerances, uniform wall thickness, and balanced melt filling, preventing air entrapment, flow marks, silver streaks, burning, short shots, sink marks, warping, and birefringence shifts, thereby significantly improving validation speed and mass production yield.

We independently customize the mold structure, mold temperature control circuit, cooling plan, ejection design, and surface treatment solutions, ensuring stable scalability of the mold during both trial production and mass production.

Enhanced Durability

The GP Mold mold material system and heat treatment solutions significantly improve the durability of molds in lampshade production. Through high-hardness, corrosion-resistant, and wear-resistant steel and advanced coating processes, the molds reliably withstand high-temperature cycles (120–200℃), UV aging, frequent opening and closing, and high-volume production conditions. This reduces common failure risks such as cavity corrosion, wear, cracking, and deformation, helping customers achieve longer mold life (over 2 million cycles) and lower overall maintenance costs.

Efficient Production

We optimize the molding cycle through CAE mold flow simulation (with particular attention to thermal radiation and optical performance prediction), hot runner system design, efficient mold temperature control engineering, and 3D printed conformal cooling circuits, ensuring high-speed production capabilities on the customer's injection molding platform.
